We include 60 miles of round-trip travel from 49071 in the rental. If available – Events outside of our home base will be an additional charge of $2/mile there and back. Shoot us a message and we can customize a quote depending on your location.
The Barcode measures in at 12ft long, 9ft tall, and 8ft wide. We will need enough clearance to drive up with the tow vehicle and pull away once she is disconnected. For help determining if she will fit in your event space, reach out to us.
Our bar requires a flat ground for setup and service, and one standard outlet. We are set up with a 40 ft extension cord to help get to the outlet. If no outlet is within range, we do have a generator we can bring to help power up the bar.
The great thing about hosting an event is it’s unique to you! Our pricing starts at $600 for just the rental of The Barcode trailer and pricing begins at $1,000 with the trailer and bar service. Pricing increases with the bar services and how extensive the drink menu is. Packages will range depending on multiple variables.
The state of Michigan does not allow a liquor license without a brick and mortar location, which means unfortunately, we can’t provide the booze. We will however work very closely with you to create your perfect drink menu and estimate how much beer, wine, and alcohol you will need. We also require the Client to purchase the sodas, mixers and any garnishes. No worries though, these will all be included on your customized shopping list along with the alcohol! Short summary- the host of the party will have to make this purchase separately from The Barcode.
Yes, we carry Liquor Liability and General Liability Insurance.
No. We do not have a liquor license and therefore do not provide alcohol. You buy the alcohol, but we do all the work. We’ll prepare a shopping list for you to look over that will include everything you need! The great part is any left overs are yours to keep!
The host will need to purchase the mixers as well. Those will be added to your customized shopping list.
Absolutely! We are happy to provide services for any type of event and provide non-alcoholic beverages ranging from sodas, mocktails to a cold brew bar for brunch to name a few!
The Barcode “code” is planning ahead is best! We suggest reserving your date as soon as possible. Even if your event is coming up soon, still reach out – we can always let you know if your date is still available. We do require a signed contract and a non-refundable 50% deposit to book your reservation, with the remaining balance due one month before your event date.
The Barcode is staffed by a team of bartenders who are TIPS certified. Our team is dedicated to serving your guests with the important element of hospitality. We are here to not just serve you a delicious drink, but to make your event memorable!
No! If your venue or catering company provides bar and beverage service, their staff can work out of The Barcode. We are able to send staff to help set up the trailer. Keep in mind The Barcode needs the proper space to be delivered.
We serve for a minimum of 4 hours. We will arrive at least an hour and a half to set up and make sure everything is ready for guests’ arrival. We are happy to provide a longer service time at an extra $150 an hour. We do keep our pricing based on the minimum 4 hours of service, we do not lessen the price for less service time.
Unfortunately, due to MI state liquor laws and regulations, we cannot allow a cash bar. Without a liquor license, we are unable to collect money in exchange for alcoholic beverages.
